My New Favorite Breakfast Yummy

I am obsessed with yogurt parfaits.....for the time being.....yummy nonfat vanilla yogurt.....topped with fresh or frozen fruit layered with crunchy granola.......yummy.....so smooth & delicious......PS I enjoy a bagel with cream cheese too.......Enjoy Mornings With Maggie & sometimes afternoons & evenings......Bon Appetite......

Happy First Birthday Charlotte Rose.......Its all about our Charlotte Rose aka Charlee.....This sweet little girl has brought us so much joy & love......the first time I laid eyes on her ' It was love at first glance & it has indeed multiplied....millions over this 1st year.......giggles.....storytime ( Polly Puts The Kettle On )....1st holidays....1st word......this list could go on & on.......Well today April 10th 2013......is a milestone.....Charlotte turns one.....To our Charlotte...Charlotte Rose ( thats what Nana calls her ) & Charlee......We Love You To Infinity & Beyond......All our love Nana & Pop Pop Dave XOXOXO

Happy New Year 1950 something....pre me.....This is a picture of my parents Elizabeth & Jimmy....second from the left....also in the picture is my late Aunt Doris....next to my Daddy.....with her is her date for the evening.....on the right is my funny Aunt Peggy & my late Uncle Jerry.....the couple in the front left are friends of my Daddy.....per my Uncle Rabbi Ronald.....as you can see from the picture my Mother dressed to the nines......so beautiful & looking ever so sexy.....same with my Aunt Doris & their is my Aunt Peggy looking all prim & proper.....I am still trying to think.....what did my Daddy have on his head.....( hat...lampshade ? ) hmmm.....I wonder if I was conceived.... that night let me do the math......But anyway I eventually came into the Family.....circa 1955......Oh how I loved when my Mommy would get all dressed up for New Years Eve.......so pretty.....and them bringing home the crazy hats & noise makers......Happy Times....

Still trying to figure out my blogging.....apparently I am not a  quick study.....but eventually it will all come together.....with the help from my daughter in law Elle......wife of my son David James.....Mommy of 2 of my beautiful granddaughters ....Claire Alivia & Ivy Pearl.....Elle has a fantastic blog.....Pigtails & Pearls.....I so enjoy reading her blog.....and seeing what is on her fashion plate.....and maybe pick up some fashion sense......this 57 year old gal.....needs some help.....Well Elle thank you for your patience & expertise......I will get there eventually.....P.S. Bunco

Bunco Fun.....Once a month usually the first Friday of the month we get together for a fun evening of laughter...food & yes Bunco.......12 girls ( women ) in the same room for a few hours.....just imagine that......yes I know what you are thinking......and believe it or not I am one of the quiet one's.....hard to believe Huh ? We usually have a theme.....jammies...crazy hat.....wear green & this past Bunco was 80's theme.....Yes Girls Just Wanna Have Fun.....and yes we do.....Believe it or not this 57 year old gal really looks forward to Bunco night.....that I even changed the date for a Dodger game...yes I know what you are thinking a Dodger game.....yes its true Bunco before my Dodgers.....just this once .....well today I will be honoring my Dodgers at a evening game with Clayton Kershaw pitching......and with my Bunco winnings......I will be indulging in a all beef Dodger Dog & a chocolate malt.....so see it was a win win situation......So Go Blue...Dodger Blue.......

To Blog Or Not To Blog.....

For quite awhile I have been pondering the thought of blogging....I enjoy writing....talking & listening....So I thought that I would put my thoughts & words to print.....whether someone reads them or not is really not my purpose....my purpose is to leave my blogs for my Family & Friends to read...if they choose to......This I would say is kinda like my Bio.....Life's lessons.....life's mistakes...life misfortunes & life's triumphs....My Patchwork Quilt.....really sums it all up.......To me every thorn has a rose.....So lets all take the time to not touch the thorns....But To Embrace The Beauty Of A Rose......
